Very compassionate and they helped us to find hard to find items for dad's memorial. Ours was difficult as we had two parents in Hospice at once in two differing locations. We needed to postpone the actual services for a whole year, but they still remembered us and worked right alongside us. They are an Orange treasure.

Shannon family was my second call. The first mortuary was kind enough on the phone, but a little too "business" on the phone. I worked directlynwith Cynthia who was extremely easy to work with and made the process very simple.

Not on ly professional, but personable and empathetic. Even when there was a hiccup with timing and I might have needed to go with another mortuary, she was calm and collected. She made some calls and made sure things were straightned out for my father's services.

Although they are a smaller mortuary, they are huge on personality and professionalism!

I am eternally grateful for the service that Shannon Family Mortuary provided to us. After being in shock at the sudden passing of my uncle, we had no idea where to start. With the unexpected passing of my stepson, I found myself in need of a mortuary who would take charge and guide me along this very rough journey. After several visits to other mortuaries, I remembered about my professional relationship with Shannon Family Mortuary and called mid morning one day. Within a couple hours, I was seated in their beautiful building ready to tackle what I thought to be another tough appointment. I left that day without committing and after discussing with my husband, I told him this is the one. This is who will help us care for our stepson and help give him the most beautiful celebration; I just know it.

I called Cynthia back a few days later ready to begin. Cynthia was thorough in every detail with me. She would take notes during our meetings and went above and beyond to ensure my concerns and questions were answered fast. Through many decisions she was kind and assured me that his send off would be just as we expected. I’m the type of person who has trouble letting other people manage the details on things, and Cynthia told me, that is what we are here for, I got this for you.

The day of our service Cynthia and Charles ensured everything was perfect for us. Such professionalism with my requests and care with my stepson. They were extra early to ensure it was all set up before I arrived.

Not knowing Cynthia before, I felt like my best friend or a family member was helping me and not a stranger. The weight of emotions from this loss was heavy on our family and Shannon Family Mortuary displayed nothing short of dedication to their excellence and providing us such a memorable positive experience. I can’t express enough how incredible it was to work with the team at Shannon Family Mortuary. When my mother-in-law passed away this month, planning her funeral and burial felt overwhelming, but Julie at SFM made the entire process so much easier.

I love Shannon Mortuary. The staff there are so helpful and very compassionate. During the planning of my husband's memorial, Julie or Charlie Link were always there to answer my questions, made me feel like family... The chapel and the service were beautiful. Shannon Family Mortuary is absolutely amazing. Nearly a year ago, when I was calling around looking into funeral services, I found that the majority of mortuaries have a business as usual style of approach; quite shocking to me, since they are dealing with people in grief. (In fact, one person wanted me to hurry up and book now because she was going on vacation!)

Where do I even start? What an amazing family owned business, from the initial consultation with Charles listening to all of my concerns and answering all of my questions. I have often heard of great things coming from the Shannon family mortuary but to see it up close and personal I must say they were the most caring, understanding and compassionate people in a most important phase you could ever ask for.

My father passed away this January and my sisters and I wanted to find to find a perfect and affordable location for his viewing. After visiting three different locations we decided to go with Shannon’s Mortuary. Unlike other locations, to them, this wasn’t just business. They showed so much respect, care, and sympathy, and patience for our family I am so glad we chose them. They made such a difficult process very smooth and they were very thorough while explaining everything. We were very pleased with my father’s viewing in general. He looked very peaceful and nicely dressed with the outfit we chose for him. The chapel they offered was beautiful and it turned out to be a beautiful ceremony. I absolutely love all these girls for taking such good care of us during such a hard time. Highly recommended.

The Shannon Family Mortuary did a wonderful job in guiding our family through this most difficult time. Within 20 minutes of my grandfather's passing, I was able to reach Beka, their Funeral Arrangement Specialist. She was so compassionate with our whole family, especially my grandmother, who has Alzheimers and just lost her husband of 65 years. Beka was incredibly patient as we made decisions, ensuring that my Grandma had the time needed to understand what she was being asked and to express her needs. There was even one point in a conversation where my mom and I were crying, and Beka's compassion showed through as she cried along with us. We felt nothing but respect and compassion from everyone we worked with.

We were impressed at how affordable it was, and how we felt like we were sitting across the table from a friend in their home at the location. When my grandmother passes (which, Lord willing, will be a long time from now), we know who we will turn to for support during that time: Shannon Family Mortuary.

It's always a difficult time when a loved one passes but Charlie and Julie Link made the process as smooth as possible. They are the right combination of professional and compassionate. Shannon Family Mortuary exceeded our expectations. We were walked though each decision that needed to be made with patience and gentleness.
Some decisions take a bit of time and thought, and we were awarded the time we needed with out any urgency at all. Shannon's sent us material on line that we requested to make final choices and they were available immediately on the phone whenever we called to ask questions. The day of the funeral they were there until our loved one's casket was in the grave orchestrating to make sure everything went correctly. They were a huge support, professional yet very compassionate and kind. Shannon's Family Mortuary seems exactly like a family that was helping our family. We highly recommend them.

I honestly do not know how anyone can get through such a difficult-life-altering-loss without the professionalism of Shannon Family Mortuary.
If you want a company who will provide the services you need. Give yourself some peace and choose Shannon Family Mortuary to handle the details at a more than fair price. It is sad how a lot of other local mortuary's up-charge for everything. A lot of these businesses unfortunately are in the death business purely for profit.

Great company and family run. Zary and Julie have been really helpful and they have a new feature where they can coordinate to have a service with a couple local churches so you can have up to 250 guests. Most of the places we called would give us only an hour and had room for up to 60 people. This place was able to do up to a 3 hour service and the folks seemed to really care. I called so many mortuaries and several folks said "Sorry for your loss, burial or cremation?" And you could tell they were just checking boxes. I was new to this process and Shannon was really patient, responsive and helpful even though we were on a very limited budget and had a lot of questions about the process. Highly recommend 10/10!

When our father passed away we called multiple mortuaries to see how to best arrange his funeral and Shannon Family Mortuary stood out from all the others from our initial calls so we went with them and are glad we did. My entire family was so impressed with this mortuary. They worked with different family members and even extended family to set everything up and they were consistently kind, patient, and professional.

I know setting up funeral arrangements for a family member, especially if it is sudden can feel unreal and you may wish to just make one call and feel confident that you are calling the right place. In my opinion, if you just make one call then Shannon Family Mortuary is a good one, and I would recommend them to anyone, our experience was a positive one and they helped coordinate everything from picking up the body, selecting the casket and flowers, arranging the funeral mass with our church and the service with the cemetery. They really helped us during this difficult time and we appreciate it.

We worked with Shannon Family Mortuary when our father passed away unexpectedly. Julie Link was our primary point of contact, but all of the staff we met and spoke with provided a sincere, professional and compassionate service.

Julie walked us through the entire process and was extremely communicative every step of the way. Her genuinely personable approach made this an incredibly smooth process. Mortuary and cremation services were uncharted territory for us, so it was wonderful to have Julie and the team in our corner.
