Vincent L. Vasil, a dedicated public servant and cherished family man, passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on June 13, 1940, in El Paso, Texas, Vince was raised with a strong sense of duty and community. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a distinguished career in law enforcement and public service.
Vince began his career with the Santa Ana Police Department, where he served with integrity and commitment. He later worked for the Orange County District Attorney's Office, contributing to the safety and justice of the community. His professional journey also included roles at The Walt Disney Company and South Coast Plaza, where he was known for his dedication and work ethic.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Vasil. Vince is survived by his daughters, Leilani Stillwell and Martha Hein; his sons-in-law, Brent Stillwell and Doug Hein; his grandchildren, Matthew and Eric Stillwell, and Haley and Emily Hein, his sister, Mary Ellen Tedford, and nieces and nephews.
