Teofila Cotales Rizkalla, 51, of Yorba Linda, California, passed away on August 16, 2025, after a brave battle with aggressive lung cancer. Born on December 28, 1973, in Oroquieta City, Philippines, Teofila was the daughter of Florencio Cotales and Dioscora Aguhob. She was a beacon of optimism and light to all who knew her. She is survived by her loving and beloved husband, Safwat, and her seven siblings.

From a young age, she demonstrated incredible determination, working tirelessly to earn her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2001. In 2007, she immigrated to the United States and began a fulfilling career as a nursing assistant.

Teofila’s radiant smile and compassionate spirit were unforgettable. She was known for her selflessness and generosity, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. A devout Catholic and God-fearing woman, her strong faith was a cornerstone of her life.

Her marriage to her loving husband, Safwat, was a source of immense joy, and while tragically cut short, the love they shared will endure.

Teofila's memory will be cherished by all who were touched by her kindness and unwavering spirit.
