On October 17, 2022, our beloved Tami Brandon Nordstrom passed away unexpectedly in San Francisco. She is survived by her husband, Stevan Nordstrom; her mother, Melissa Brandon; her brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Noriko Brandon; her niece and nephew, Sora and Umi Brandon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tami was preceded in death by her father, Woody Brandon, and her grandparents, Chester and Adrian Brandon, and William and Melissa Johns.
Tami was born in Elkhart, IN, but lived most of her 53 years of life in Southern California and San Francisco. As a young woman, she enjoyed the beauty of Laguna Beach and the art community. In 1993, she earned a BA Degree at The Art Institute of Southern California. The canyons and landscape of the campus were inspirational and honed her creative skills.
After graduation, Tami moved to San Francisco. She was a graphic artist at Macy's for several years, and then decided to utilize her customer service skills (developed from jobs during high school and college) at some of the specialty shops in San Francisco. She enjoyed meeting people from the local neighborhoods and visitors from around the world.
Her happiness in life included times shared with family and friends (especially her birthday and Christmas); walks and taking photos with Stevan in SF; art shows; listening to many genres of music; dancing; playing the piano - her favorite go to was Für Elise; walking her brother's dogs, Jasmine and Coco; traveling; reading; and old movies.
Tami, you will be forever in our hearts.
