Ronald "Ron" Steven Sabo, aged 88, passed away from natural causes at St. Joseph's Hospital on April 9th, 2024. Born in Indiana, he grew up speaking Hungarian and learned English as his second language. His family moved out to California while he was in primary school and he joined the US Navy Reserve shortly after graduating high school. During his tenure in the military, he also began working for Santa Ana College wherein, over the course of 35 years, he worked his way up to Director of Auxiliary Services. He retired at age 58 and continued to enjoy camping trips, golfing, birdwatching from the kitchen window, and overall spending time with his family until the day he left us. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sharon, daughter Sherryl, grandchildren Samuel, Jeremy, Caran, and Spencer, and three great grandsons Gavin, Finan, and Kellan.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Norbert Catholic Church with a small, private reception to follow.
