Roger Dale Floyd

Roger Dale Floyd of Victoria, Texas passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 81.  Roger was born to Mildred and John Floyd, on April 22, 1942.  He was mechanically inclined with a special focus on woodworking, making custom furniture and commercial cooling systems.  Roger joined the US Airforce at the age of 17 for 4 years.

Roger is survived by his 5 children Kim, Bryan, Byron, Steve, Mike and 7 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his two brothers Clyde, Lyle.

Roger had many titles in his life from business owner to husband, but his favorite role was being a father.  Even though he moved to Texas, he kept in touch with many friends and his children.  He was always there for them through marriages, death, and life in general.  While Roger left us too quickly the impact, he had on those around him will be felt forever.

Viewing will be held on June 14, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm at Chapel of Orange 215 N. Grand Ave. Orange CA.  Services on Thursday June 15, 2023, at 10 am at St. Columban Catholic Church located at 10801 Stanford Ave. Garden Grove, CA.
