Robert Cañas Avalos Sr., 63, of Irvine, California passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2020.
Robert was born at Santa Ana Community Hospital in Santa Ana, California to Guadalupe Avalos and Eva Canas. He spent majority of his life in Santa Ana before eventually moving to the great city of Irvine, California. Robert had a career of 20 plus years in construction. He built all over Orange County, sometimes building multiple homes in a days work. Having to retire early, due to the fact of being disabled from multiple surgeries through the years and blind from one eye, Robert became a perfectionist at work around the home and washing cars. Those who knew Robert knew he was a Man of Great Faith in God. Robert, known for his sense of humor and sarcasm was loved and known by many. His big heart and great attitude had many generations calling him “Pops.” He enjoyed barbecuing with his loved ones and being outdoors.
He is survived by his loving family; his Wife of 47 years, Susan Avalos; Children, Bobby Avalos Jr., Brandy Avalos, Jacob Avalos, Frank Avalos; Grandchildren, Freddie Mora, Celes Mora, Joshua Avalos; Great Grandchildren, Jayden Mora, Noah Mora; Brother, Guadalupe Avalos; Sister, Veronica Cañas; and Sister, Eva Avalos.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
May he Rest In Peace.
