Richard Macias Cruz

Richard Macias Cruz, 66, passed away on 25th October.
Rosary will be held Friday, November 13 at Holy Family Cathedral at 9:15 AM. His funeral
service will be held following the rosary starting at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Holy Specular Cemetery in Orange.
Richard was born at St.Joseph's Hospital in Orange, California to Julia Macias Cruz and
Raymond Alonzo Cruz. Richard is survived by his brother Robert Cruz and two sisters
MaryHelen Cruz-Castellano and Teresa Cruz-Aguirre. He grew up with his little sister Teresa.
He graduated from Orange High School. After graduating, he worked for Santa Ana Unified
School District. Richard loved and was proud to be working for the district.
Throughout Richard’s life he lived in the City of Orange.He was an avid collector and was
always into wood working. Richard was also an avid sports fan from enjoying and watching
games of the Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, and
UCLA.
