Raymond Leonard Shaver

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Raymond L Shaver who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 89 years.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan Carolyn Shaver, son, Randy Shaver, daughter in-law, Deborah Shaver, grandsons Jacob Shaver (Katie Shaver), Brandon Shaver and many family and friends.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Orrie and Mary Shaver, siblings, Dale, Jimmy and Marie Shaver (Knight) and other family and friends.  Raymond was born in Santa Ana, California and passed away there also.  He was drafted into the Army in 1958 where he served in Seoul, Korea for 14 months and was honorably discharged after 6 years.

He began his life's work at Tustin Unified School District where he was employed for 50 years to the day.  He worked two jobs on many occasions and his work ethic was very important to him.  Raymond loved to travel and visit family and friends.  He loved his Lord and Savior and enjoyed serving his church in any way possible.  He was known for his funny jokes and one liners and loved everyone around him.  He will be greatly missed by all.
