Raul Lozano

March 14, 1966 ~ February 4, 2021 (age 54)

Obituary

Raul Mercado Lozano was born in El Zarco, Guerrero, Mexico, on March 14,1966.  He married his best friend, Teresa Angulo Lozano on October 7, 1995. Two great sons were born from this union, Erik and Andres.  He was son of Petra Mercado and brother to Lidia and Araceli.

Raul was known by all as a loving, generous, and kind man.  He loved and cared deeply for his family and friends.  He was hard working and a great provider for his family.  Raul was someone who could be counted on unconditionally. He was an amazing man!

He loved so many things in life, whether it was hanging out with family or friends, playing with his grandkids, or simply watching his favorite soccer team “America”.  Raul was a dedicated soccer coach, who enjoyed teaching young kids, his love for the game of soccer.  After a long day, you could find him watching sports with our granddaughter, Evelyn sitting on his lap. To Raul, his close friends were known more as family.   His infectious smile, quick witted humor, kind heart, and compassionate spirit is something we will all remember him for.

Raul was the heart of each gathering and more often the life of the party!  You would see him being the DJ, where he was sure to play the song “Oye Mujer” or on the dance floor showing off his moves.  Raul was quite a dancer and was usually the first to get the party started.  He lived each day to the fullest!

Raul connected with so many people throughout his life, he will be deeply missed.  Not a day will pass where we won’t miss his infectious smile.
