Phyllis Cahill

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend

              Phyllis Mary Cahill (81) of Orange, CA passed away February 23, 2021. She died peacefully in her home after suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease for many years. Phyllis was an incredible mother to her seven children Paul (Renee), Joe (who preceded her in death in 2017), Mary, Maura (Mike Marks), John (Valerie), Nancy (Leon Neben), and Anne (Ed Everett). Phyllis was a loving grandmother to Sara, Kyle, Eric, Michael, Lauren, Marian, Kadie, Timothy, Ryan, Amanda, Kendall, and Makenzie. She was also great-grandmother to Bryson, Colton, Hazel, Jameson and Olive.

              Phyllis lived a life of service to her family, her community, teaching, and working for the Sisters of St. Joseph until her retirement. The whole family has been blessed by Phyllis’ gracious and kind spirit shown throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. In our hearts now, in our hearts forever. A service will be held at Holy Family Cathedral on Monday, March 29 at 10:00am.
