Patrick Ho passed away peacefully at home in Orange, California, on June 10, 2022. In his final days, he was surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 21, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, Patrick Ho attended ʻIolani School and at the age of 15 earned an early placement to attend Lafayette College, PA. After graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, he earned his DDS from Temple University. He accepted a commission in the U.S. Navy, rising to the rank of Captain, and retired honorably after 30 years of service. During his military career, he also earned BA Marketing and MBA Healthcare degrees. After retirement, he volunteered at the local library and at St. Joseph’s Hospital, taught business management at National University, enjoyed visits from his children and grandchildren, cheered for the Los Angeles Lakers, and traveled the world with his wife, Ruby.
Patrick is survived by his wife Ruby; his daughter Kimberley, her husband Patrick, and their daughter Jennifer; his son Michael; his son Christopher, his wife Tomoko, and their three children – Christina, Keilani, and Jasper.
Visitation to be open Friday, July 1, 2022, between 9:30-11:30am at Chapel of Orange, 215 N. Grand St., Orange, CA 92866, followed by Military honors ceremony at 2:00pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518
