Nancy Darlene Chirco

Nancy Darlene (Walton) Chirco passed away July 20, 2025, in Fullerton, California. She was born February 9, 1952, in Lynwood, CA.. She grew up in Downey, CA and attended the local public schools, graduating from Downey High School in 1970. Shortly after graduating she was set up on a blind date and met her future husband Joseph Chirco. They were then married on November 10,1973 and celebrated 50 years of marriage before his passing.  They had a daughter and a son and later 4 grandchildren; 2 girls and 2 boys. Nancy spent her days as a homemaker. She was very involved in her children’s lives. Her hobbies included many crafts: crocheting, quilting, sewing, embroidery, and miniatures. She also spent countless hours researching genealogy. She enjoyed collecting antique dolls. 

Her husband, Joe Chirco and her parents Robert and Mildred (Gilbo) Walton predeceased her. 

Surviving are her 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 2 sisters, several nieces and nephews along with many family and friends. 

There will be a Celebration of Life on August 17, 2025 in Fullerton, California. Please contact a family member for more information.
