Michael was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, September 11, 1946. He went to Otsego, Michigan schools and graduated in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in March of 1969. He married Maureen Dobbin (also an Otsego grad) on November 8, 1969.
54 years later, on March 7, 2024, Michael passed away. He is survived and missed by his wife, Maureen, brother Bob Buckmaster Jr., and sister Ginny Buckmaster Rutlidge, neices Sandie Cook and Teresa Buckmaster and nephews, Ken Buckmaster and Keith Buckmaster
