Mary Ann Hahn Obituary

Mary Ann (Kojesky) Hahn was born and raised as an only child in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up she was adored by her loving parents Joe and Betty. She attended Ladywood High School and earned her teaching credential/speech therapy from Michigan State University. She remained a Spartan fan for life!

Upon college graduation, the suntanned recruiter was all she needed to see to know she was moving west. She landed in Corona, California but shortly thereafter, met her husband and moved to Orange County.

She spent her entire adult life at 2525 E. Jacaranda. She loved that house and cared for it lovingly all of these years. Many of the original neighbors remain or were still friends at her passing. She brought her 3 children, Albert, Gregory, and Audrey to this home to love and raise them.

Mary Ann loved the city of Orange. She worked for the Orange Unified School District, sang in the Orange Chorale Choir and loved to visit “The Circle”. She said she loved the small town feel Orange provided her.

Mary Ann loved and was adored by 8 cherished grandchildren. Daniel, Josh, Jillian, Max, Maddie, Ty, Adam and Chandler were the lucky recipients of Nana’s affections. She cheered at 100’s of baseball, soccer, basketball and theatre performances. She was always proud of them and showed up to support all of their endeavors.

Mary Ann embodied many amazing qualities. She was smart, strong, slow to anger, resilient, determined, kind but most of all loving. She loved her children, grandchildren, in laws and friends. She demonstrated this love with acts of kindness, generosity and unfailing support. She will be missed by all of us. She ran through the gates of heaven to be embraced by Jesus, her mom and dad, and her beloved son Greg. Remember her for her faith in our Lord and Savior, the love she shared and the kindness she demonstrated.

Be blessed!
