Obituary for Marjorie L. Arnold
Marjorie Louise Conrad Stipp Arnold left for her party in Heaven on February 10, 2024 at the age of 102/7 months; one week after attending her daughter’s 80th Birthday Party.
Marjorie was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 4, 1921 the youngest of five children. She is survived by her oldest son Robert C. Stipp, daughter Barbara J. George, youngest son Donald Stipp (wife JoAnne Stipp), step-son Ken Arnold (wife Thanh-Thanh) and step-son Steve Arnold. She is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She moved to Costa Mesa, CA in 1953 with husband Robert L. Stipp and three children. Her career was in accounting where she worked at “Love Joy Electric” in Costa Mesa, and retiring at age 62 with 27 years with “Crank Bros. Roofing & Decking Company”.
Her adventures were plane gliding, many cruises and trips with her brother and sisters. She loved playing bridge, gin, dirty marbles and Rummikub.
Marjorie had three men in her life; 2 husbands and 1 companion of which she outlived all three.
Her six years in Irvine, CA were filled with family events, and much loving care especially at the end from grandsons Brent and Bron, daughter Barbara, friend BJ Schmidt, and niece Carolyn Sterling.
