It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margaret V. Madrid.
To quote her granddaughters, she lived for her family and showed us all what unconditional love truly is. She was a strong, positive, loving, warm, intelligent, and hardworking woman who tirelessly worked from age 18 to 92 years old, both in the workforce and while raising her family. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." - COR: 13 4-7 NIV
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
