Margaret Madrid Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margaret V. Madrid.

To quote her granddaughters, she lived for her family and showed us all what unconditional love truly is. She was a strong, positive, loving, warm, intelligent, and hardworking woman who tirelessly worked from age 18 to 92 years old, both in the workforce and while raising her family. She brought joy to all who knew her, gracing us with her sweet smile and tender heart.

Margaret showed us all what it meant to be responsible and caring.

Born to Juan and Belen Valle in Los Angeles, CA, she was married to Carlos G. Madrid for 51 years. Margaret was the mother to 8, grandmother to 14, and great-grandmother to 10.

Margaret is predeceased by her father and mother, Juan and Belen, her husband Carlos, and daughters Angela Madrid and Christina Binner.

She is survived by her children: (Allen) Binner, Kathleen (Mark) Dalli, Richard (Debbie) Madrid, Stephanie Madrid, Anthony (Rebecca) Madrid, Juliet

(Colin) Kreller, and Melanie (Andrew) Doubroff. Her grandchildren: Cheryl

(Josh) Severson, Jeffrey (Wendy) Binner, Lauren (Dave) Stone, Daniela Dalli

(Franklin) Navarro, Damien (Cecile) Dalli, Danielle (Chris) Bolitho, Joseph Fierro, Margaret (Chris) Kreidel, Andrew Madrid, Kelsey Madrid, Robert Madrid, Ethan Kreller, Adam Kreller, and Amelia Doubroff.

Great-grandchildren: Nelia & Brandon Severson, Jonathan & Benjamin Stone, Ashley Ko, Corbin & Emerson Dalli, Oliver & Molly Bolitho, and Cora Kreidel.

On behalf of her family, we invite you to join us for the viewing/rosary on December 14th, the funeral mass and burial services on December 15th.

A celebration of life will be held in Spring 2024. More details to follow.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." - COR: 13 4-7 NIV

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

- Serenity Prayer
