Linda Sheryl Wilson was born on December 8, 1944 to Neva and Derrel Collier. She went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2020. Linda is survived by her mother Neva, three children Darin, Johnny, and Shyann, grandchildren Ashley, Lauren, and Quinten, and great-grandchildren Donovan, Reise, and Amina.

Linda was born and raised in Old Town Orange where she attended Orange High School and married her late husband Charles in September of 1969. Linda was a dedicated mother and cared for all of the neighborhood children as if they were her own. Linda always had a smile on her face and a helping hand held out to anyone in need. At one point she even took in a young homeless boy who ended up stealing her family’s rent money, but she told her children that despite this event, she would never stop helping those in need. Linda was well known for her cooking and baking skills. The local mechanic would work on her vehicle in exchange for one of her famous homemade cheesecakes or chicken dinners. Linda always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart. She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.
