Lee Allen Bramson Obituary

Lee Allen Bramson (October 3, 1952 – February 21, 2025) entered the Kingdom of Heaven on the morning of Friday, February 21st after a battle with cancer. His passing was peaceful, and he had recent visits with his three children, his sister and many of his friends.

Lee was born in Sioux City, IA to Leonard and Ruth Bramson. His sister, Lynne, soon joined the family and together they moved more than 10 times throughout his childhood – from Iowa to Kansas to California back to the Midwest and finally settling in Orange County, California. After all that moving, it makes sense that he lived in the same home in Orange for over 40 years and spent the majority of his professional life at Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana.  Lee will be greatly missed by his Chevy family and will be remembered as a man of honor and integrity in the car business.

The most important things in Lee’s life were his family, friends and loved ones. He was the best husband, dad, Pops Lee/Poppy and friend that anyone could have asked for. Spending time with those closest to him brought Lee endless joy. Some of his favorite things to do were watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football, listening to the Eagles, playing a round of golf with the “Fearsome Foursome”, watching his sons play on the Little League or High School baseball field, camping at the beach with his wife and friends or just relaxing on the back patio with a cold beer. Lee was described by everyone who knew him as incredibly loyal, with a calming presence, a great listener and the kindest person.

Lee is survived by his wife of 37 years, Amy, his children Nicholas (Patricia) Bramson, Elizabeth (Zachary) Straube, Daniel (Amanda) Bramson and Suzie Helmsworth and his grandchildren Noah, Priscilla, Julianna, Isabella, Cameron, Clayton and Vivian.

Lee will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Tustin, CA on Saturday, March 15th at 3PM.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in Lee’s honor to Peace Lutheran Church or Concordia University, Irvine for the Concordia Fund which benefits student scholarships.
