Kevin Ashley Brown of Houston, Texas was born on April 4, 1974, and passed away on January 14, 2024. He was 49 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert (Dave) and Andrea Good Brown. His survivors include his sister Sheila Brown Moffatt of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aunt Therese (T.C.) Brown Marshall of Franklin, Pennsylvania and many cousins throughout the East Coast.
Kevin was born in La Mesa, California and grew up in Anaheim, California. He graduated from Our Lady Queen of Angels High School in 1993 and received a dual degree in History and Finance from California State University, Fullerton in 1996. Kevin later earned his MBA and obtained his CPA license in 2002. He worked in public accounting in various roles throughout his career. His most recent position was as an Audit Manager for Haynie and Company based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kevin was an avid reader throughout his life and particularly enjoyed autobiographies and historical fiction. He was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Angels baseball and Charger football teams. His love of history led him on several adventures throughout Europe and he enjoyed his travel experiences to the Caribbean, Hawaii and over 30 other states.
The Rosary and viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 31, at 6:00 pm at the Chapel of Orange in Orange, California.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 1, at 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa, California.
The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, California.
