Kathleen Burnett Falcone of Anaheim, CA passed away on August 14, 2024. She entered this world as the firstborn child to Frederick Lloyd Lewis and Burnett (Pert) Valerie Lewis on March 21, 1948. A lifetime California native, she graduated from Pius X high school, going on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree from Immaculate Heart College, and finally her Master of Arts degree from Chapman University. She then spent her career as an educator and administrator, working for the Diocese of Orange from 1974-2013 at St. Anthony Claret, St. Justin Martyr, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Schools.

Kathleen’s strong Catholic faith ensured her life was filled with prayer and devotion. She studied the Bible and attended church regularly. Her love for God guided her journey, and she was greatly loved and blessed in return.

Though her passion for education cannot be denied, Kathleen’s favorite occupations were wife, mother, Grammy, and sister. Married in January 1973, she celebrated 50 years with her husband Elio in January 2023. Though Elio preceded her in death, we are overjoyed that the loving couple has been reunited for eternity in heaven.

Her legacy is survived by her loving son Christopher, daughter-in-law, Heather, and her two grandsons, Dominic, and Lucas. As the oldest of seven children, Kathleen is also survived by her siblings Sharon Sheppard, Susan Chambless, Frederick Lewis, Andrea Figard, Diane Sipos, and Patti Ruggles.

Her smile, laughter, love, and presence will live on in our hearts forever.
