Judith Ann Yamane

9-1-1940 to 1-7-2024

Born Judith Ann Owens on 9-1-1940 in Los Angeles, CA. She was the daughter of Milton and Mildred Owens. She attended some of her elementary school in Orange, CA. She also lived in Big Bear, CA and went to elementary school there also. Judi, as she liked to be called, attended High School at Mater Dei in Santa Ana.

Judi then went to college in Idaho. In 1959 she married Delbert William Cahill. During their marriage, they had two children. In 1960 Deborah Ann Cahill was born. In 1961, Dean William Cahill was born. During their time together, the family traveled all over the western United States. These trips included hunting, fishing, and camping. In 1970, Judi divorced Delbert.

In 1971, Judi met Yoshio Roy Yamane, who in 1978 would become her husband. During this time, Judi was very happy. Judi and Roy ran a successful landscaping design and installation company. They both enjoyed playing in billiard tournaments and traveling. Sadly, they divorced in 2006.

During the later part of her life, she was surrounded by her family, which she loved dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and son. Judi also spent a lot of time with her granddaughter Kady, who she “loved to the moon and back.”
