Joyce Simonette, a beloved mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, passed away on April 22, 2026. She died at home, surrounded by her family. 

Joyce was born on May 13, 1947, to Robert E. Thomas and Kathleen Murphy Thomas in Little Falls New York. Throughout her life, her favorite hobbies included cooking, baking, and ceramics. She was an avid animal lover, with the biggest sweet tooth, as well as a devout New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Most of all, she enjoyed being within the company of her family. 

She was predeceased by her father Robert, mother Kathleen, and her two brothers Tommy and Dick. She is survived by her three children, Tracy, DJ, and Kathy, her son-in-law, Jeff, and her three grandchildren, Kirstin, Justin, and Isaiah. She is also survived by five family pets, whose affection she loved receiving. 

Her final resting place will be in Little Falls, New York, where she will be reunited and buried with her parents in the place she most considered home within her heart.
