Joyce Elaine Perrin Boyle passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 22, 2020.
Joyce was born on November 4, 1957 in Lakewood California to Lorraine Hintz Perrin and Warren Perrin. She had two older brothers, Lyle (who passed away in 1983) and Marc Lee Perrin (who passed away in 2014). Joyce was raised Lutheran (Missouri Synod). She grew up in Anaheim California and graduated from Savanah High School in Anaheim in 1975.
Joyce married Ore Dewitt (O.D.) Treadway in 1979 and they had a son Christopher Brant Treadway in 1981. Joyce and O.D. divorced in 1983.
She married Kevin Michael Boyle in 1984. They had their son Sean in 1985 and their daughter Jennifer in 1993. Joyce has three grandchildren: Daniel, Timothy and Grace.
After the marriage to Kevin they looked around several churches and ended up at Morningstar Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational charismatic church. They switched to Faith Community Church which later became St. Michaels Charismatic Episcopal. Joyce worked in the church office for over a decade, while the kids attended the school, St. Michael’s Academy.
The Boyles left St. Michaels in 2007. For a short time the family attended St. Johns Orthodox church in San Juan Capistrano. Christopher and Joyce joined St. Timothy in Laguna Niguel. In 2018 Joyce was Chrismated into the Orthodox church and joined Jennifer and Kevin at St. Luke’s. Kevin and Joyce had a heart for helping those in need. They often opened their home to people who were struggling and had families or individualsliving with them for most of their marriage.
Joyce had many hobbies including sewing, knitting, scrapbooking and baking.
Joyce worked at Mission Wrap and Mail in San Juan Capistrano since 2017.
