Jorge Villasenor Mora (January 14, 1933- March 13, 2023)

Jorge V. Mora passed peacefully, surrounded by his children on March 13, 2023 in Orange, CA at the age of 90. Jorge was born in Jiquilpan, Michoacan Mexico. Jorge was the 2nd youngest of 8 siblings born to Miguel Mora and Laura Villasenor.  Jorge moved to Santa Ana, CA in the mid 50’s where he met the love of his life, Esther Hurtado. Jorge married Esther Hurtado on August 3, 1963. They were blessed with three children, Lance, Patty, and Jacqueline and settled in Orange, CA where they raised their family and built a life together. Jorge served his community where he owned dry cleaners for years, and his children were able to be a part of it as well. Jorge was a humble man who loved family and always looked forward to the holidays. Jorge loved to entertain family and friends in their home and was always welcoming and greeted everyone with a warm smile and hug. He loved music and would be the first one on the dance floor. Jorge lived life to the fullest right up to his final days. Jorge is preceded in death by his parents, 7 siblings and wife Esther. He is survived by his sister, Teresa Quiroz Mora and children: Lance Mora (Teri), Patty Purifoy (JP), Jaqueline Otake (Stan) and grandchildren: Zachary Chavous, Tyler Chavous, Justin Mora, Garrett Mora, Ian Otake and Mia Otake.
