John Harold Primm, age 79, of Santa Ana, CA, passed away at his home on September 14, 2024. John was born September 1st, 1945, in Chicago, IL, the only child to the late Harold and Lolita (Kamradt) Primm. He was a 1968 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, studying Speech and Drama.

John had many different careers in video throughout his life, most memorable were his times working in Africa and Germany for Lutheran Bible Translators, throughout California for Ford Aerospace and Lockheed Martin, and running his own production company, DV Post. In recent years, John was fond of volunteering his time recording services for St John’s Lutheran Church of Orange, of which he was a long time member.
John enjoyed music, producing videos, writing, watching movies, all things Disneyland, traveling, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons, Steven (Jill) Primm, of Trabuco Canyon, CA, and Alan (Rebecca) Primm, of Merrill, WI; his grandchildren, Penelope, Hunter, Olive, Harper, Gideon, and Camille. John was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lolita.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
