Joan Doyle

Joan A. Doyle, Age 89, of Fullerton CA passed away on September 14th, 2020. She was born to parents Wilfred and Agnes Des Jardins on March 20, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Joan graduated from Notre Dame High School for Girls and went on to study Sociology and Art at San Francisco College for Women and graduated with a BA degree in Sociology.

She was a primary school teacher 1953-1955, stopped to become a full time mother and later she continued to long term teach in Anaheim School district 1976-1985. Then went on to teach elementary for St. Anthony Claret School in Anaheim, CA 1985-1987 and ended her teaching career at St. Juliana Falconieri as an elementary teacher in 1995.

Joan met Giles Doyle in college. They were married on June 4, 1955 in the City of Santa Clara, CA. Together they raised four children: Kathleen, Michael, Gregory and Brian.

Joan is survived by: Daughter Kathleen Baker, Son's Michael Doyle, Gregory Doyle and Brian Doyle, and 3 grandchildren: Matthew Doyle, Jacob Doyle and Kaitlyn Doyle.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Giles Doyle.

The family has Shannon Family Mortuary with arrangements. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday October 6th 2020 at St. Juliana Falcorieri Church, 1316 N Acacia Ave, Fullerton CA 92831. Private family graveside will follow.
