Janette Leota Paleno Obituary

Janette “Jan” Paleno, 87, of Villa Park, CA passed away on March 19, 2026 in Orange, CA. Jan was born on March 1, 1939 in Binghamton, NY to Joyce & Owen Heath.

Jan spent her career as an Executive Assistant in the travel and healthcare industries. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and aunt, and incredible friend. As a committed servant leader, Jan won the Values in Action award of “Excellence” from St. Joseph Hospital when she worked there, which is the highest honor bestowed upon an employee.

Jan served tirelessly with her PEO sisters and fellow members of the Villa Park Women’s League, which brought great joy to her life. She was a dedicated member and volunteer at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Orange. As a resident of Villa Park for more than 50 years, Jan loved all her neighbors dearly and considered them family.

Jan is survived by her daughter Laurie, son David and her five grandchildren, Caylie, Grant, Erich, Alicia and Bobby Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tony of 60 years. Her oldest son Robert joined them in heaven on March 25, 2026.
