Jackie Craychee died July 22, 2025 in San Dimas, CA at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Selma and Albert Craychee; one sister, Greta Peterson, and four brothers, Walt Craychee, Oran Craychee, Robert Craychee and Happy Craychee. She is survived by her sister-in-law Helen Craychee with whom she lived, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Jackie was born in Mandan, North Dakota on May 10, 1930. She graduated from Mandan High School in 1948. She attended the School of Pharmacy at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and graduated in 1952. After graduation, she moved to California and worked for her brother, Oran. Then she moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and worked at St. John Hospital for ten years. She returned to Orange California in 1966 and worked at Chapman Hospital and Thrifty Drug Store unit she retired in 1997.

 

Jackie is known for her extraordinary generosity and kind spirit. She was a devoted member of her church community, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange, CA, where she nurtured a deep and abiding faith. A lifelong dog lover and avid reader, Jackie also cherished her role as a proud aunt, finding great joy in spoiling her beloved nieces and nephews and all of her many dogs.
