On September 28, 2020, heaven gained a new angel, Frances Winifred Chandler Verburg. She passed away unexpectedly at age 79, as a result of complications from cancer. She leaves behind the love of her life, Darell Verburg, to whom she was married for 61 years. Frances was the ultimate mom to Robert (Pam) Verburg and Daralee (Tom) Ghinder; a doting grandma to Jenny Verburg, Shannon (Jason) Myers, TJ Ghinder and Christine Ghinder; and great-grandma to Cooper Myers and Cameron Myers.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Chandler and Winifred Chandler Letien, and her brother, Dan Chandler.
Frances spent most of her life in Orange, CA, and also loved spending time in Bishop, CA. Some of the things she will be best known for are supporting anything her grandchildren did, waving till the car was out of sight, XOXOXOXO, the pep squad’s cheerleader, seamstress par excellence, grand-dog lover, drum corps fan, being so organized, a craft-goddess, and so much more that will be missed so much.
Funeral info: Service at Chapel of Orange, Sunday, October 11, 2020 at noon. Private gravesite service following.
Internment: Fairhaven Memorial Park
