Ellen Myers

Ellen was born on November 21,1925 in Brea, California to Hester and Philip Richison.

She was the youngest of four children. Her family lived on the Unocal Oil Carbon Canyon Production fields moving to the city of Brea when she was thirteen.

Ellen loved to sew, quilt, embroider, well, almost any form of crafting. She taught her family the sense of giving and community involvement with her actions. She continued to support the non-profit Santa Claus incorporate of San Bernardino by donating handmade doll quilts to their Christmas Toy Drive. At age 97 she was still churning out doll quilts and doing embroidery

Ellen is survived by her four sons Bob, Earl, Jimmy and Ervin, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, her loving daughter Val on May 18, 2022 and her loving husband Ervin Myers Jr. January 2, 2000.

Graveside service will be held at Memory Garden Memorial Park Brea, California April 18th at 11 am.
