Edward H. Majcher, 98, passed away on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at his home in Louisville, KY. He was a long-term resident of Orange, CA prior to moving to KY five year ago. Edward was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Elizabeth and Middletown, NJ for many years before moving to California. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was employed as a fire captain for the Elizabeth Fire Department. After his retirement he also worked as a fire and security guard at Rockwell International. Edward was a communicant of St. Norbert Church in Orange, CA before moving to Louisville where he was a communicant of Sts. Margaret and Mary Church.
Edward was predeceased by his wife of fifty years Helen Majcher, by his son Robert Majcher, and by his brother John S. Majcher.
He is survived by his daughter Diane Majcher; his sons Thomas H. Majcher (Monica) and Richard Majcher; his brother Stanley Majcher; his two sisters Terri Cummings and Mary Farrenkopf (Bob); his grandchildren Michelle Majcher, Jennifer Majcher Baker (Jeff), Daniel Majcher (Lisa), Victor Moreno (Maybel), and Ariel Spoor; Maria Majcher (mother of four of his grandchildren), and a great- grandson Lucas Moreno. Edward was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
