Donald Roy Jordan Obituary

Donald Roy Jordan, 78, of Orange, California passed away at his home on November 13, 2025.

Born in Compton, California on April 27, 1947, son to Norma Vanderlinden Jordan. Donald served in the Army station in Germany, went to barber school in Long Beach, upon returning from the Army. He married Virginia Gutierrez in 2025. He was an owner of a barbershop called "The Wooden Indian Barber" in the city of Tustin for almost 40 years before retiring full-time in 2020. Don love going to the horse races in Santa Anita, enjoyed playing poker, driving to Laughlin as it brought him memories of when he worked at the Edgewater Hotel casino in his younger years, but his passion was drinking a beer and watching football. He was a Kansas City Chiefs and Trojan fan. Don was a very quiet person and a kind one. Of course, he kept to himself and didn’t like any type of drama or confrontation. He was honest and had a huge heart and a great smile with a unique laugh with the most beautiful ocean blue eyes. Predeceased by maternal grandparents, Roy and Edna Jordan, Mother Norma Vanderlinden in 2007, and brother Dale Richard Schlaht in 2005. He is survived by his spouse Virginia Gutierrez, Jordan from Orange, California Brother Wayne Schlacht, and many nieces and nephews from La Mirada, California. A childhood friend Jeff Tappe from Pahrump, Nevada, many friends and neighbors that reside at Orchid Garden Senior Apartments, where he resided.
