Dolores Ann Thibert passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in Garden Grove, California.  

Born and raised in North Adams, Massachusetts, Dolores later made her home in Garden Grove, California, where she lived since 1969. A dedicated scholar, she proudly graduated magna cum laude and went on to build a successful career as an accountant. She worked for various companies and also provided her expertise independently to friends and family.  

Dolores had a passion for life that was evident in her love of travel and attending concerts and shows. Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for the arts brought joy to her life and those who shared these experiences with her.  

She is survived by Brian and Mistie Thibert, Cheryl Thibert, Deanna Thibert, Amber Buksa, Jason Thibert, Brett Sullivan, Christopher Varela, Brittany Flores, Dustin Thibert, Tyler Thibert, Brandon Thibert, and Garrett Varela. She was preceded in death by her son Craig Thibert; her ex-husband Bernard Thibert; her parents Doris and Henry Simon; and her sister Barbara Simon-Landry.  

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Chapel of Orange, located at 215 N. Grand St., Orange, CA 92866. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service at The Velvet Rose located at 300 Flower St., Orange CA.  

Dolores will be remembered for her intellect, adventurous spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
