Dolores Raedean McManus

Dolores R. McManus age 86, of Orange, died on September 22, 2020 at her home.

A Service will be held on October 2, 2020 at 4:00-7:00 pm at Chapel of Orange, 215 N. Grand St. Orange CA.  Shannon Family Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are preferred to Eastside Christian Church. Dolores was born on July 28, 1934 in Lynn Lane, Oklahoma to Cornelius and Nell (Watkins) Wiens. On September 7, 1955 Dolores was united in marriage to Owen D. McManus in Broken Arrow, OK.  Dolores loved traveling, going to Disneyland with her grandkids and hosting holiday dinners with family and friends.  She was always up for an adventure so; the grass never grew under her feet.  Dolores worked for PacBell for several years.  While working a PacBell she was selected to be Disneyland Cast Member on opening of the America the Beautiful attraction.  In 1964, she took time off to raise a family.  In 1974, she returned to work for Ward Supply Company.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Loree (Joel) Marquardt of Anaheim, CA, and grandchildren, Neil Marquardt, and Joseph Marquardt. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dee.
