Delia “Dely” Aquino Yazon, age 86, left this world on August 3, 2022.
Dely was born on September 29, 1935, to Jose and Luz Aquinoin Lucena City, Philippines. She graduated high school and immediately went to college at UST in Manila, Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. She then met her husband, Ruben Yazon, who is from Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija. They married on November 16, 1955. She worked with the County of Orange in Adoptions for more than 17 years. Throughout her life, she has touched many lives and treasured her family (husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, and nieces). She made it a point to keep in touch with nieces and nephews. And they never forgot to greet her on specials days. Which she always cherished.
Dely was predeceased by Ruben and her four children—Lorie married to Edwin, Rudy married to Gloria, Adie married to Susan, and Imee married to Ronnie. She was also the grandmother of Lorie’s daughters, Janelle, Christine and Faith.Rudy’s children, Ryan, Dru, and Darrel. Adie’s son, Nico, and Imee’s children, Nichole, Cameron, Sydney, and Riley. As a bonus, she was also gifted to having great grandchildren, Aryssa, Brayden, Rylan, Ryder, and Camden. Dely also leaves behind a brother, Manuel Aquino.
Dely was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed watching teleserye and being updated on what was going on in the Philippines. She enjoyed eating out and contributing her lumpia or pancit during family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her.
