David Haro Gonzalez, age 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25th, 2020, at UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA. He was born on December 28th, 1954, in El Refugio, Jalisco, Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria del Socorro Haro; devoted father to three children, Alma, Bianca, and David. Caring grandfather to 5 grandchildren; Adrian, Olivia, Lionel, Elías, and Julián.
He enjoyed listening to Jaime Jarrín narrate his beloved Dodger games, attend horse races at Santa Anita Park, he enjoyed visiting his home town of La Capilla, Jalisco, Mexico. Unfortunately, on June 5th, 2007 he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke which, drastically changed the last 13 years of his life, (leaving him paralyzed from his right side of his body), wheelchair-bound and with an inability to speak. Although he was restricted and had limited mobility, he continued to enjoy his family and watch them grow. He proudly attended major life milestones such as: weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and holiday celebrations. Throughout the course of his life one thing remained the same, the love for his family.
His family is grateful he had the opportunity to enjoy all of his grandchildren. Some of his favorite activities included playing catch, Lotería, BINGO, and creating arts and crafts for his grandchildren.
His legacy will live on through his wife, children, and grandchildren. He taught his children about hard work and perseverance, and for that, they will forever be grateful. They thank the Lord for allowing him to create so many memories with them and his grandchildren. May he Rest In Peace.
