David Greiner Obituary

David Keith Greiner

November 27, 1951 – July 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness, but also with immense gratitude for a life so well lived, that we announce the passing of David Keith Greiner on July 13, 2026.

After a courageous battle with kidney cancer and trigeminal neuralgia, Dave passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.

David was the beloved husband of Julia, his wife and best friend of 54 years. Together they built a beautiful family that was the center of his life. He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Stacia Greiner and her husband, John; his grandchildren, Johnny Gould and Taylor Greiner Peterkin, her husband Steve, and their son, Stephen. He is also survived by his son, Fr. Roch Mary (Keith) Greiner, and his son, Thomas Greiner, his wife Rachael, and their son Max. He is also survived by Ron Greiner, his younger brother.

Dave was a man of deep faith...He lived his life with humility, kindness, and a servant’s heart. Whether you knew him for years or had only just met him, he had a way of making everyone feel welcomed. His gentle spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

For decades, Dave was a respected name in the Volkswagen community through his business, Proformance Motoring Accessories (formally Auto Haus). His craftsmanship, knowledge, and passion for Volkswagens earned him admiration from enthusiasts around the world. More than the cars themselves, he treasured the friendships he built along the way. The countless stories, memories, and heartfelt tributes shared since his passing are a testament to the extraordinary impact he had on so many lives. Dave led by example, teaching those around him the importance of faith, honesty, hard work, patience, and compassion. His greatest legacy is not only what he accomplished, but the lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Dave’s suffering has ended and that he is now in the loving presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ. His steadfast faith carried him throughout his life, and we rejoice in God’s promise that this goodbye is only temporary. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with him in eternal life.

Dave’s legacy will continue to live on through his family, his friends, the Volkswagen community he loved, and the countless people who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

**Dave requested that everyone wear a Hawaiian shirt, VW or Race shirt and shorts to his services**
