Darlene Leilani Winters, born July 21, 1960 in Oxnard, California, passed away suddenly on September 24, 2020. She was 60 years of age.
Darlene was raised in Cypress California, later moving to an apartment of her own, which she shared with a roommate, in Santa Ana, California. It was during this period in her life, shortly before turning 19 years of age, she met the man, who some four years later would become her husband.
Shortly after her marriage, she and her husband continued to live for brief period of time in Santa Ana, until Darlene became pregnant with her one, and only son, Bryce Winters. A burgeoning family prompted the couple to search out, and eventually purchase their home in Orange, California. That home they shared as a family for the next 35 years, right up until her very sudden, and unexpected demise.
Darlene Winters was a dedicated wife, mother, and employee. She faithfully tended to the responsibilities that were multi-faceted, and oft times complicated administrative duties, that spanned many different areas. Darlene dispensed, responsibly any and every task that she was called upon to perform, whether it was for family, or for work. She managed both finances, shopping, along with preparation of meals, all in dedicated support of her family.
Darlene took particular pleasure in performing her duties to her employer, First Service Residential, in Irvine California, where she finished out her working career up until the day she passed. For well over a decade, Darlene gained, sharpened and utilized her skills to meet a variety of needs for First Service, and did so gladly for many devoted years.
Darlene is fondly remembered by not only her family, but by those with whom she had regular contact, as having and displaying raucous laughter when her funny bone was tickled, which due to her bubbly personality was shared quite often. Darlene’s sense of humor tended to be a bit on the naughty side, with no one exempt from her comical remarks, especially her husband.
Surviving Darlene, are her husband, Dwight, son, Bryce, brother, Roger, and mother, Alice Rogers who resides in Hawaii. All of her family love, and miss her terribly.
