Daniel John Lesko Obituary

Daniel John Lesko passed into heaven on February 5, 2025 after 5 months in Providence Hospice O.C. and under the care of his beloved sister, Jean.


Dan was born October 21,1943 in Homestead, Pennsylvania. He lived in San Jacinto, California for many years.


Dan was the eldest son of John and Pauline Lesko.


Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalinda.


He is survived by his  sister, Jean, his brother, Gary, one nephew, two nieces, and four great nieces.


In 1961 Dan graduated from Homestead High School in Pennsylvania. He then went on to Allegheny Technical Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for two years where he graduated with honors.


He enjoyed the outdoors and climbed to the top of Mt. Whitney with family and friends.


During the Vietnam conflict Dan served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1970.


After this, Dan worked for United Airlines as an "R & E" Engineer. Also, Dan worked with Sperry Rand Univac. Later in his life, he was C.E.O. of his own biomedical company.


When his health permitted, he enjoyed repairing electronic equipment.


For several years Dan served proudly as a volunteer "U.S. Army Guard" at Riverside National Cemetery.


Funeral Services for our loved one will be held at noon, March 5, 2025 at Riverside National Cemetery.
