Celia “Sally” Elenes Siañez, 84 of Anaheim Hills, California passed away February 26, 2026 in her home surrounded by her beautiful loving family at her side.  She was born on February 4, 1942 in Orange, CA, the eldest of three, brother Tony, and sister Virginia, to Demetrio and Jennie Elenes. 

Celia graduated from Santa Ana High School.  She worked over 20 years and retired from the County of Orange Superior Court as a Clerk, and worked many voter registration and elections.  She regularly attended OC retirement luncheons and gatherings to meet up with her retired friends.  She worked at Rockwell International for a number of years and had various other jobs throughout the years.  She was an amazing mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and charismatic person with a huge heart and a fun, colorful personality to those lucky enough to be in her life.

Celia was the mother of five loving children and survived by children Terry, Audrey, DeAnna and Steve and their families, and sister Virginia.  She was preceded in death by her brother Antonio “Tony” Elenes, her eldest son Tony, and grandson David Patrick Sullivan.  Celia’s ex Feliz Siañez Jr., father to their five beautiful children. 

Celia was adored by all of her large family including twelve grandchildren and more than ten great-grandchildren.  She had countless faithful longtime friends throughout her life. Celia loved to be around her family.

She loved good food and hosted many holiday parties.  For many years she participated in family tamale making get togethers where she showed her love of food and cooking skills. 

She loved all kinds of music including Tex-Mex, rock ’n roll and the Latin music genre.  She loved going to concerts.  She was a devoted member of Weight Watchers where she made many long friendships.  Her family is scattered throughout the United States but they always made time for each other.  She always welcomed the opportunity to share her house with family, and family friends, throughout the years to help out.  She never turned her back on anyone in need. 

Her passing is immeasurable.  It’s hard to imagine life without her.  She was the driving and uniting force for her entire family.  She will be missed and loved by everyone who knew her for a long time to come.
