Carmen Chacon Ruiz was born on January 13, 1924 in Brawley California and passed away January 30, 2020 at her home in the city of Orange, California, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Evelio, and many family members.
Carmen was retired from the Orange County Registrar of Voters. She loved her family most of all, was an avid reader, gardener, and walker. She loved people and socialized with everyone sharing her jokes and laughing. She enjoyed puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Carmen was devoted in her beliefs and Catholic faith. She will be missed by her five sons, four daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Carmen would like everyone to know that her work here is done. She received a call from Jesus Christ for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment takes her to a wonderful new home with her Savior, with a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time, reading, gardening, and socializing to her heart’s content. Laughter and love are guaranteed.
We celebrate her life and the love she leaves in our hearts forever. Blessings to you all! God is Good!
