Bret Carlton Woody, 65, passed away on March 30, 2024, of natural causes. “Woody” was born on May 3, 1958, son of Bettie Woody, Brother to Roderick Powell, Alisa Woody and Cheryl Woody Pegram. Uncle to Kristin Priesand and Dennell Ellis, and Great Uncle to Nathan Priesand, Ella Priesand, Abilene Ellis and Hudson Ellis.

Woody was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent 43 years running Woody’s Antiques with his beloved mother Bettie Woody. Prior to Woody’s Antiques, he spent many years working at Disneyland where he was loved by all who knew him. He was known for his kindness, generosity, honesty, humor, wit and strong work ethic. He was passionate about antiques and loved the many loyal customers who frequented Woody’s Antique’s over the years.

In his free time, Woody enjoyed spending time with his family and friends playing board games, watching movies and watching the Angel's play. He also enjoyed shopping for antiques, and watching and betting on horse races in Del Mar. When he was younger he was a formidable opponent in basketball and on the baseball field. He enjoyed many good times with his friends and family through the years and he will greatly be missed by all whose lives he touched. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love.
