Beverly Joan King passed away at Orange Hill Elderly Care on the morning of September 12th, 2021. She was born in Cardston, Alberta on February 13th, 1939. She was the eldest Daughter of Alvin and Mary Ranson, and was trained as a school teacher at the University of British Columbia where she received her teaching credential. She is survived by her loving husband William King who she married on July 18th, 1964. She also leaves her two sons Richard and Michael, her daughter in law Chloe, and her two granddaughters, Emma and Willa King. Beverly will be greatly missed by her family, friends, the educational community, and the various volunteer organizations that she supported during her lifetime. Beverly was selflessly involved with Precious Life Home for Expecting Mothers, a battered women’s shelter, the Homework House, and many others. She was also a beloved Sunday school teacher and superintendent who left a lasting impression on her community. Her grace, dignity, and endless sense of compassion defined her as a person, and are an unforgettable part of her legacy.
