Barbara Mae Roefs was a dearly loved, wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandma, great grandma, aunt & friend. She is survived by her daughters, Pam, Julie & Shelly, 5 grandchildren, Tiffany, William, Kelsey, Olivia & Lauren, and 5 great-grandchildren, Victoria, Emmanuel, Christian, Isabella & Gabriel.
She was married almost 66 years to Robert Roefs, until his passing in May. They were true partners in life and their crazy, loving relationship inspired so many people.
Born October, 3rd 1938 in Los Angeles, Ca., she moved to the newly growing suburbs of Orange County upon marrying & there in Buena Park, she created a welcoming, beautiful & busy home.
She loved & gave of herself beyond measure. Each & every one of her family & friends knew they could count of her for love & support. Her gorgeous smile, her sharp wit, her warmth & her humor left an impression on everyone she met.
She was a wise counselor, cheerleader & always had the time to listen.
She loved family & being there for every grand & great grandchild event & kept track of everthing going on in her family & friends lives.
She gave of herself with great generosity, caring for her elderly family & any person in need with grace & a loving heart.
Her feisty, brave & protective nature will be carried down through generations.
She brought her love of gardening & flowers to life in her florist shop, Love Thy Flowers, where she thrived for many years.
Her love of Elvis was legendary & the family trip to Vegas for a 50th anniversary wedding vow renewal with an Elvis impersonator presiding was a highlight in her life.
She will be missed beyond words and held deeply in the hearts of her family & friends forever.
