Barbara Louise Brown

Barbara Louise Brown, age 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at her residence in Huntington Beach.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Chapel of Orange in the city of Orange. A reception will be held immediately afterwards. Barbara was born on September 15, 1950 in Santa Ana, California, the daughter of Thomas and Yvonne Brown. She worked at the Orange Police Department as a Parking Control Officer and a Crime Prevention Specialist for 29 years before retiring in 2004. Barbara moved and lived in Apple Valley for 17 years before moving again to Huntington Beach to live with her daughter Deanna Garza.

Barbara enjoyed collecting various items such as pens, rare currency, staying up to date with politics, love for Facebook, and most importantly, she loved and cherished her family. Barbara is survived by her three children Kellie Herrera, Deanna Garza, and Garry Herrera; her two grandchildren Jackon and Nixon Garza, her sister Kathy Ault, her brother David Brown, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving grandchild, Tyler Herrera on July 10, 2012; her brother Thomas Brown and her sister Shirley Abbott.
