Tony Beran Obituary

Anthony (Tony) Beran June 12, 1935 -May 8, 2023

Anthony Beran passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023. He lived in Santa Ana, California with his son, Mark Beran. Tony passed at HOAG Hospital in Newport Beach, CA after a battle with chronic COPD.

Tony was born in Hvar, Croatia in 1935. He had the fortunate experience of being born in the same home as his mother, Jelisava Stambuk. Tony was only a month away from his 88thbirthday and lived a brilliant life to the age of 87.

Tony is survived by his loving daughter Kerry, son Mark and wife Alice, grandchildren: Nicholas Tomic, Matthew Edgar, Liana Edgar, Joseph Beran, Jacqueline Beran and Liam Beran. Tony is also survived by his sister, Anka Beran.

Tony was President of Respiratory Support Products in Irvine California and most recently was Vice President and Operating Partner for Starboard Medical in Irvine, CA. a position he held until his death. 

Tony was deeply involved in the Croatian Community in San Pedro serving as a member of the Croatian Club. He also was involved with Share our Selves (SOS) in Newport Beach, CA.

A visitation and Rosary will be held at Orange Chapel in Orange California on Monday May 15th at 5:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at La Purisima Catholic Church on Tuesday May 16th at 9:30am. Reception immediately follows at Anaheim Hills Golf Couse
