Ann married Jacob (Jack) Henry Otley on July 11, 1944 just before he departed for WWII.
The Otley family lived in Salt Lake City, Utah until they moved to Santa Ana, CA where they lived from 1951 to 1959. In 1959 they moved to Orange, CA and remained there the rest of their lives.
Ann was a Boy Scout Den Mother, and a parent school volunteer. She was involved in Junior Chamber, was a Founding member of St. Norbert’s Catholic Church, and volunteered in the burn unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Ann loved to cook and entertain friends and family, and was famous for her authentic Italian lasagna. Ann loved to golf and was part of a woman’s golf club.
Ann was widowed in 1988. She lovingly and courageously cared for her husband during his 5 year battle with cancer. Ann was devoted to her family, and throughout her life involved herself in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
