Allan John Schlichter, 92 of Anaheim, California, passed away on April 17, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

Allan was born on July 6th, 1933, in French Camp, California. He grew up in the Stockton/Oakland area. He attended Pre-Med at the University of California, Berkley and Podiatry school in San Francisco. He was drafted into the United States Army but was deferred to finish college, he was then stationed in Texas and worked in the infirmary.

He moved to Orange County in the late 50’s where he opened his own practice, which he operated for over thirty years. He married and had two daughters. He like to play golf every Wednesday and bowled when he could. He loved traveling, especially road trips, visiting zoos and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Shirley Schlichter and his daughters, Patricia Jones and Linda Kuster and their husbands, Walter Jones and Greg Kuster. He had three grandchildren Tyler (Jordin), Paige, and Kaylie Kuster and three great-grandchildren Jackson, Levi, and Addie Kuster. His extended family included his younger brother Gary Schlichter as well many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Allan’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
