Abigail Sagrero Obituary
Abigail
Beautiful hands
aged in the sun, in hard work.
Love so deep it only hurts
"Grandma! Grandma!" I yelled
wanting to do what you did.
Your babies, your plants.
They give and take, give and take —
give love, take pain.
The pain you breathed in only to give out more love.
I love your beautiful hands
You move dirt and yet your hands give the softest touch.
As darkness fell at 7pm
You would yelled, "Eh sleepen.”
I wasn't tired, but I went to you still.
Beautitul hands, aged so well.
